The city is located next to the green mountains of the Farallones and the succulent valley of the Cauca River. Its altitude of 995 meters above sea level and a climate that varies between 20°C and 38°C make it a warm paradise that is refreshed by the evening breeze that sways the palm trees that are found throughout the city.
